Create a project
A Strent project stands for one copy of your app, such as the version on your computer or your live site, and connects to one Stripe account in one mode. Create separate projects for development, staging, and production so keys, webhooks, and customer data never mix between them.
Create the project
Section titled “Create the project”- In Strent Admin, select Create project.
- Enter a name you and your team recognize quickly, such as
Acme staging. - Add an environment label when the name alone is not enough.
- Choose Test or Live to match the Stripe mode this project reads: Test for Stripe’s test mode, where cards are fake and no money moves, or Live for real payments.
- Create the project. Admin opens its Overview, where the Set up Strent checklist links each remaining setup step.
Test and Live are separate
Section titled “Test and Live are separate”A Test project accepts Stripe test-mode credentials and events. A Live project accepts live-mode credentials and events. Keep the same boundary in your application configuration:
